At TOKYO SKYTREE, approximately 800 visitors will be allowed in on January 1, 2026 ( Thursday, a national holiday ),for the New Year’s Day sunrise special hours at the observation area.

*Visitors may enter at 6:00 am or later, but please note that you may miss the sunrise depending on how crowded the tower is.

Ticket Information

• ■Observation area admission ticket for special hours (Tembo Deck + Tembo Galleria)
  *Regular hours begin at 8:00 am. Visitors may continue to enjoy the observation area at this time.
   Note that a regular ticket for the Tembo Galleria is required for admission to the Galleria as of 7:30 am.
• ■Gift cards of JPY1,000 (tax included) may be used at THE SKYTREE SHOP (Floor 345 and 5F).
  *THE SKYTREE SHOP (Floor 345 and 5F) hours begin at 7:00 am.
   Shop hours differ from the New Year’s Day sunrise special hours.

• ■No. of tickets available: 540 (5 tickets available for purchase by a single purchaser at one time)
• ■Price: JPY 9,000 (flat rate including taxes)
• ※Sold out due to popular demand.

About Tickets

• ・The same rate applies for all ages.
• ・One ticket required for each person. Up to two children aged five or younger per group are admitted free of charge.
• ・Note that poor weather conditions may obstruct views of the sunrise, but that we are unable to issue refunds.
• ・If the number of tickets sold as advance reservations does not exceed the upper limit, same-day tickets may be available.
• ・The number of tickets available for sale may change.
• ・Tickets other than special tickets such as those issued by travel companies, hotels, etc., tickets transferred from another day, etc. will not be honored.

Special Hours

• ・Take in views of the sunrise from the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria.
• ・We are unable to cover visitor transportation and accommodation costs in the instance the event is canceled.
• ・We are unable to take any responsibility whatsoever for accidents caused by visitor failure to observe staff instructions or precautions.
• ・During special hours, visitors may take in the view from the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria and move between the two as much as they like.
• ・Regular hours start at 8:00 am. Visitors may continue to enjoy the observation area at this time. However, to enter the Tembo Galleria as of 7:30 am or later, you must purchase a regular ticket for the Tembo Galleria.
• ・Refrain from saving a space. Do not bring chairs, picnic blankets, etc. You may bring a tripod (sides 60 cm or less when folded), but take care not to disturb other visitors.
• ・You may not re-enter the observation area once you leave.
• ・The TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN underground parking lot opens at 5:00 am. Parking validation is not provided for observation area tickets, including for the special hours. We recommend using public transportation during the special hours event.
